The All Saints restoration project was recently honored with two more historic preservation awards – one from the Victorian Society in America, and other from the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
On April 30, the Victorian Society in America presented representative from the parish with a 2016 Preservation Award during their Annual Meeting Los Angeles, CA. This prestigious award was one of only three given to projects in the entire nation and honored "the meticulous exterior and interior restoration of this important 1892 Modern Gothic church designed by Ralph Adams Cram." More information can be found on the Victorian Society website
On May 19, the Massachusetts Historical Commission presented All Saints with one of its 2016 Preservation Awards at a ceremony at the State Archives Building. Secretary of State William Galvin and State Historic Preservation Officer Brona Simon presented the award, which was one of only ten awarded to projects across the entire state. More information can be found at the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
This brings the total number of awards the restoration project has received to five. In 2015, All Saints was recognized with preservation awards from Preservation Massachusetts, the Boston Preservation Alliance, and Engineering News-Record.
