The Choir of All Saints Worcester, and the Rev. Mike Dangelo joined us to create another memorable Candlemas. Listen to some of the musical highlights, and read a transcript of Fr. Dangelo's homily.
"...the painting depicts, in late medieval sensibilities the Angel Gabriel kneeling before the Blessed Virgin. In his hand an olive branch and faintly in the golden paint the words in a direct line from Gabriel's mouth 'Ave Maria gratia plena dominvs tecvm:' Hail, Mary full of grace the Lord is with you. And Mary, somewhere between fear and incredulity is turned away from the angel, caught in an eternal wince."

The Rev'd Donald Miller died peacefully the morning of 15 October 2014. A long-time priest associate of the parish, Fr. Miller was a tireless and devoted minister of the gospel, who took great satisfaction during his retirement in assisting the Ashmont clergy by visiting parishioners in their homes.
William Porter played a recital at Harvard University's Memorial Church to benefit All Saints' Skinner Organ restoration project on Sunday, 21 September. Over $17,750.00 in contributions was received as a result of the recital to directly benefit the ongoing restoration and installation of Skinner Organ, Opus 708.
The All Saints' Choir of Men & Boys will sing four evening services during the autumn of its 2014 choral season. Three of these services will be at sister churches in Cambridge and Worcester. The choir will also sing a service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Ashmont, the weekend of the Fourth Sunday in Advent, 21 December, at 4 p.m.
Having reached our minimum Capital Campaign goal of $500,000 in pledges and gifts just about a year ago, the Campaign has shifted into the "maintenance" phase, during which we continue to collect and log payments made by pledgers. On the one hand, this is rather mechanical and dry accounting work.
Again this year, our boys of the choir traveled with their chaperones to beautiful Essex, New York, on the western edge of Lake Champlain, for a week-long choir camp, hosted by our good friends of St. John's Episcopal Church.
December 2013 saw the 150th anniversary of Ralph Adam Cram's birth. A small committee organized a weekend celebration of this seminal figure of 20th century architecture, Friday & Saturday, 13 & 14 December 2013.

There is a private parking lot for 47 cars and on-street parking on both Ashmont Street and on the other streets surrounding the church.

Our emphasis at the Parish of All Saints is on sacramental worship (the Mass or Holy Eucharist) celebrated in a traditional Anglo-Catholic style, with strong orthodox teaching and preaching, supportive pastoral care, a caring parish family, and responsibility to our community and the greater world.
