Associate Choirmaster Michael Raleigh Michael Raleigh is a Boston-based conductor, tenor, and teacher. He is the Associate Choirmaster at the Parish of All Saints, the Conductor of Beneficia Lucis, and the director of the Boston Latin School Show Choir, Pizzaz. He holds a Masters in Choral Conducting from Boston Conservatory, where he studied with Dr. George Case, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and German from Harvard University, where he sang under Dr. Andrew Clark and Dr. Harris Ipock. Mr. Raleigh holds teaching positions in German at Boston Conservatory and Boston Latin School. He also works as the accompanist for the Boston Latin School choral program and served as the Orchestra Director for Boston Latin’s production of Cabaret in 2018. A sample of works Mr. Raleigh has conducted include: Duruflé Requiem, Handel Let thy hand be strengthened, Bach Jesu, meine Freude, and Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs. Mr. Raleigh loves to work with choirs in order to breathe new life into the music of the past by creating a shared imagination for musical possibility. At Harvard, Michael sings in the Harvard Glee Club, conducts the Holden Chamber Singers, and plays snare drum and cymbals with the Harvard University Band. He has also managed the Harvard Summer Chorus and has sung with Harvard Glee Club Lite, a pop music a cappella subset of the Glee Club..
