{grid6}Christian education for children happens at the 10 o'clock Sunday mass. Children are in the church until just after the gospel is sung. Then they walk in procession with their teachers to classes in the parish house, returning to the church for communion. The Sunday School is the first to receive communion after the choir. They then return to the parish house, until they rejoin their parents at coffee hour.

Parents with infants and toddlers are encouraged to remain with their children in the church during the mass as they are able. We think it is important for very young children to become comfortable being in church. When young children are unable to sit comfortably with the rest of the congregation, parents are invited to move to the tower area where they may engage their children with toys or activities they have brought. There is plenty of space there to walk an infant back to sleep. In December 2014 the family bathroom (with a changing table) will be complete. It will be located just down the corridor behind the pulpit.{/grid6}
